DSi XL

Here’s the first advert for the Nintendo DSi XL. It’s the first advert for the console in the world so it’s actually in Japanese. I’m not fluent in Japanese but I’ll attempt to translate the advert for you. Nintendo are still trying to appeal to mothers and trying to make them believe their games brings families together.

“Nintendo DSi XL. Marvel at its size. Other DS consoles look tiny. DSi XL has a 4.2 inch screen so you can see things on it better. Look, the screen is loads bigger than the DS Lite’s screen and even a lot bigger than the out-dated DSi screen.

Even your gran will want one. Why not surprise her with one this Christmas? The whole family will have a great time watching her use the 4.2 inch screen. See how they smile and laugh? The DSi XL brings a family closer together and with this brings great joy.

The feeble old stylus was difficult to hold but you will never drop the brand new touch pen.

You can use it in the kitchen or on the toilet. It takes just a little DSi training. It includes an instruction booklet and the DSi browser.
