R4i on DSi XL

I’ve tested a my DSi XL with an R4i (compatible with DSi version 1.4) and… well you can see if it worked in this video.

If you don’t know, the app I’m using in the video is called Colors. It was voted the best DS homebrew in the R4 Contest. If you’re interested in playing homebrew on a DSi XL or standard DSi you will need an R4i card like the one I use in the video.

    Turnes out that despite the rumors of improved ‘protection’ against DS Homebrew and NDS ROM piracy R4i SDHC flash cards are DSi XL compatible – that is DSi flash cards that are compatible with regular DSi firmware version 1.4 will also WORK on Nintendo DSi XL consoles!
